Deep garnet in hue, this finessed Petite Sirah fills the glass with a bouquet of fresh, ripe blueberry and boysenberry followed by lingering sweet notes of vanilla. The lush berry flavors also form the forefront of the palate where a balance of acidity and smooth tannins provide a firm structure while yielding a silky mouthfeel. The wine was barrel-aged for nine months in a combination of French and American oak barrels (comprised of approximately 30% new oak). The restrained alcohol and ripe, polished tannins make this wine food friendly and immediately approachable. Our inaugural vintage – get your hands on this while it lasts! 289 cases produced.
